The Challenge begins

The Global Corporate Challenge, that is. To walk, in teams of seven, an average of 10,000 steps a day (each) for 125 days. Read all about it on www.gcc2009.com

We all have pedometers to record progress. So far today I've done 7373. Gotta do better than that!

You can come and work my potato field! Walk 40m while hoeing one side of the first ridge, then back 40 metres doing the other side. Then repeat for the second row, the third, the fourth, and so on. When you each the 40th and final row, you can hoe the half acre of carrots, onions and beets. After lunch, walk the 2.5 miles into town and then the same back again.

I sometimes wonder just how far I walk on a typical day around the croft. But then I decide I'd really rather not know! :D

Thanks for that kind offer but I'll graciously decline!! I saw enough of my dad hoeing potato fields not to want to repeat it (so did he).
