Where ladybirds go in winter

In any dark and sheltered spot they can find, by the look of this lot revealed when I lifted these roofing sheets from their temporary resting spot.

Interesting mix of colours and spottage. Different species perhaps?

  1. And a spider scurrying away. The different species are all friends too - that's nice. Hope you popped it back for them.

  3. Yep, you've got at least 5 different types of ladybirds there Woody ....and, thankfully, none of them are harlequins!

  4. We've one flying around our house at the moment... Must've come indoors for a nice warm place to spend winter.
